My Path
My journey into mental health coaching didn't begin in a classroom—it began with my own challenges.
For years, I wrestled with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and the feeling that I was simply lost. Like many people, I also experienced the pain of loving someone battling addiction. Those experiences forced me to ask difficult questions about myself, my thoughts, and what it actually means to live a healthy, meaningful life.
Finding a professional to talk to was a big step on my journey.
As I learned more about the way our thoughts shape our emotions and behaviors, I became fascinated by psychology. What started as a personal search for healing grew into a lifelong passion for understanding the human mind.
I spent a year as a Guide at Aspiro Wilderness Adventure in Utah, working with adolescents in a wilderness therapy setting. Living alongside young people as they faced challenges in nature taught me the incredible resilience people possess when given the right support and environment.
I was eager to learn more, and my path eventually led me to meditation, mindfulness, and Eastern philosophy. I moved to Thailand to teach English, where I immersed myself in Buddhist culture and deepened my meditation practice. During my time there, I completed a meditation retreat in Chiang Mai—an experience that profoundly shaped how I approach both life and mental wellness.
When I returned home, I knew I wanted to dedicate my career to helping others navigate their own paths.
I joined InStride Health, where I spent three years as a Pediatric Exposure Therapy Coach, helping children and teenagers struggling with anxiety and OCD. I guided clients through exposure therapy, values work, goal setting, and evidence-based coping skills while partnering closely with licensed clinicians and families. Watching young people overcome fears they once believed impossible reinforced something I had already come to believe: meaningful change happens one small, courageous step at a time.
Today, I'm a certified Mental Health Coach through Headspace, and I bring together evidence-based psychology, mindfulness, meditation, and real-world experience to help people create lasting change.
Outside of coaching, you'll usually find me hiking, traveling, meditating, watching sports, or planning my next adventure. I've been fortunate enough to travel to 15 countries—including Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Nepal, Peru, Costa Rica, and Spain—and every culture I've experienced has reinforced the same lesson: regardless of where we come from, we all want peace, purpose, connection, and fulfillment.
I believe the most important work we will ever do is the work we do on ourselves.
When we become healthier emotionally and mentally, every part of our lives change—our relationships, our careers, our confidence, and the people around us. Growth isn't just personal; it's contagious.
My goal isn't to "fix" anyone. It's to walk alongside you, provide the tools and accountability you need, and help you build a life that feels authentic, resilient, and meaningful.
Because no matter where you're starting, there is always a path forward.
