Therapy is provided by licensed mental health professionals and can involve diagnosing and treating mental health conditions, processing trauma, exploring past experiences, and addressing significant emotional or psychological distress.
Mental health coaching is focused on the present and future. Coaching helps clients better understand themselves, develop practical skills, set meaningful goals, build healthy habits, and take actionable steps toward positive change.
At Mindful Path Coaching, sessions are active, collaborative, and skills-focused. Depending on each client’s needs, we may work on managing anxiety and stress, building confidence, understanding thoughts and emotions, practicing mindfulness, developing healthier routines, navigating challenges, and working toward personal goals.
Coaching is not a substitute for therapy or clinical mental health treatment, and some individuals may benefit from working with both a therapist and a coach. When appropriate, coaching can complement therapy by providing additional support in practicing skills and applying what you’re learning to everyday life.
